"Open Season" is the fourteenth mission of Project Wingman. The player supports an offensive against retreating Pacific Federation forces in the middle of a forest fire.
Objectives
The initial targets are comprised principally of cruisers, AA guns, F/C-16s,F/C-15s, P.28 helicopters, and a Littoria-class air battlecruiser. After these are destroyed, new targets are added, including tanks, artillery, AAs, SAMs, advanced railguns, more F/C-16s and P.28s, and a second Littoria. An escaping column of trucks to the southeast is a non-combat target. Destroying all PRIORITY targets completes the mission.

Trivia
This mission is similar to "The Inferno" from Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War as they feature a federal military setting fire to their own territory and is set right before a major disaster in the next mission.
