Section 4-4
Section 4-4 is a Federation Special Forces unit.
History
Section 4-4, during the Cascadian Conflict's Magadan Invasion, infiltrated behind Cascadian Independence Force lines through Highway 1, encountering minimal resistance while scouting for the main rebel command base coordinating the invasion.
The section located the HQ at an open field behind an unfinished exit ramp, one SOF member quipping about the tunnel's width allowing aircraft in. They recommended this plan to Federation High Command and briefed Air Reserve Division K-9 on Mission Cantyll-59-Mono's details; as the rebels upped their anti-air defenses thoroughly, they had to work with regular Federation Ground Forces on ensuring a path through the highway for K-9 leader Driver via operating shutter controls.
Driver blasted a path through the infrastructure, 4-4 crossing their fingers on his capabilities, which some wondered was on par with the Federation Peacekeepers. The "dog" actually made the designated exit, and the SOF opened up the gate for the airstrike to begin. As the rebel defenders became stirred up and began defensive, 4-4 pacified the base's entire command staff, securing their war plans once Driver's work concluded,[1] which included invasion leader General Faust's true objectives in-country.[2]
