Thorn Rose Gang

The Thorn Rose Gang was a squadron of mercenary ace pilots from the Equatorial Periphery.
History
Little is known about the Thorn Rose Gang prior to their deployment in the battle over the Bering Strait. At some point, they were recorded in the Federation International Intelligence Agency's watchlist.[1]
On April 17, after the Federation's air force was decisively defeated over the Bering Strait[2], the Thorn Rose Gang and other mercenary pilots crossed the IDL to shoot down retreating Federation aircraft, with the squadron specifically targeting the remnants of Crimson Team. They chased them as far west as the Gulf of Anadyr off the coast of Magadan.
There, they engaged in combat with Division K-9, the last Magadane reservist air division, which was scrambled to cover retreating Federation aircraft. Despite their superiority in numbers and combat experience, all members of the Thorn Rose Gang were shot down by K-9.[1]
