Objectives:
- Rescue battleship Eminent Domain
Briefing
Briefer: Monarch and Comic, you’re the only mercenary plots on-base at the moment, so this is your mission effective immediately: A few hours ago, the remnants of Cascadia’s Coast Guard were able to board and raid a Federation battleship which ran a little too close to Cascadia’s northern coasts; they have promptly christened it as the “Eminent Domain.” The Eminent Domain is a new battleship used by the Federation Navy, equipped with top-of-the-line armament and an electronic warfare suite, it stuffs most of the utility of an entire battlegroup into its hull. The Independence Force are deploying resupply and escort ships to them ASAP; however, they need air support. We have the means to repair it and gain intelligence from disseminating whatever info we can from its computers, but it is imperative that it is escorted into safe harbor first. Hitman, takeoff immediately, dismissed.
Hitman 3 | Comic: Even when I’m a mercenary, I still end up fishing. Come on, Monarch, let’s go.

AWACS | Galaxy: [sighs] Alright, Galaxy getting on station. Hitman’s down a pilot today, huh?
Hitman 3 | Comic: I’m sure Dip's having fun by himself hitting some energy facilities with Assassin and Gunsel.
AWACS | Galaxy: Oh, I know he is. Normally, I’d be able to monitor all of you at once, but this damn comm jamming is wreaking havoc with my capabilities.
- Hitman 3 | Comic: I would’ve given Prez Dip’s spare plane to run his spot, but I don’t know if anyone else can stand being Monarch’s wizzo. That, and I know Boss gets pissy when people start taking positions.
- AWACS | Galaxy: Yeah, I’ve seen her fly before, good call.
- Hitman 1 WSO | Prez: Eat my ass, Galaxy!
- AWACS | Galaxy: Yeah, I’ve seen her fly before, good call.
AWACS | Galaxy: Anyway, heads up.
Cascadia | CCS Court: This is resupply ship Court, we’ll remain on station for the Eminent Domain to link up with us.
AWACS | Galaxy: Roger all, highlighting Federation ships now. Hitman, sink any and all contacts in the area before Eminent Domain gets here.
Federation Ship: We have two aircraft crossing into the AO hot.
Federation Pilot (Male): Roger, assuming CAP. With any luck, this is one of the second-rate mercs and not the one our Peacekeepers lost track of.[note 1]
Federation Ship: All ships, remain in current holding pattern, do not stray, that only opens you up for attacks, we have to hold this position to trap that battleship.
Federation Ship: Only two planes?
Federation Ship: Affirmative, the rest of rebel air power is heavily occupied, this must be all they can spare.
Hitman 3 | Comic: That’s a lot of ships in the water for an intercept, what gives?
AWACS | Galaxy: It’s on principle, Hitman 3, if the rebels can steal a battleship, think about how that makes the rest of the Feds in-region look.
Federation Ship: All ships in blocking positions, we are on the tail of the rebel battleship, be ready, we're taking a pounding from it!
Federation Ship: Intercept group, be advised, we are contending with ASM planes as of current, take out that battleship before they link up.
Hitman 3 | Comic: Those AA guns will chew us up if we get too close, Monarch, gotta hit ’em fast. We’ve got patrol boats doing picket duty, easy money.
Cascadia | CCS Court: Captain Pele, you look pensive.
Cascadia | CCS Court: My brother is a Federation sailor on the Eminent Domain, I...I just hope things turned out okay for him.
Cascadia | CCS Court: Woah, look at the mercs go at them.
Federation Ship: All ships, get into firing patterns, we need to deal with those planes before the battleship gets here or we’ll be in trouble!
Eminent Domain | Captain Woodward: Confirmed hit on target, [laughs] that’s #15 down, reload main battery!
AWACS | Galaxy: Eminent Domain inbound imminent, that should be them over comms.
Rendezvous with the Eminent Domain
AWACS | Galaxy: Contact with the Eminent Domain at bearing 000 from bullseye.
Cascadia | CCS Court: This is the Court. All hands, prepare for contact.
Hitman 3 | Comic: Warship Eminent Domain, this is combat flight Hitman in the AO coming to you feet wet, say status?
Cascadia | Warship Eminent Domain (Male): Read you loud and clear, Hitman, this is the Eminent Domain, are you all our support?
Hitman 3 | Comic: All the birds you got.
Eminent Domain | Captain Woodward: Hey, give me that!
Cascadia | Warship Eminent Domain (Female): Woah, hold on, sir!
Eminent Domain | Captain Woodward: [garbles] This is Captain Woodward, commander of this proud vessel, and we graciously accept your help! Our CIC will feed your AWACS information for priority targets, get going or we’re going to be sunk before we can get back into it!
Cascadia | Warship Eminent Domain (Male): We have surface contacts in front of us, total enemy strength is now at battlegroup levels behind and forward!
Eminent Domain | Captain Woodward: Good, activate secondary guns and load up the racks on all batteries, we’re not out of this yet!
Federation Ship: This isn’t ideal!
Federation Ship: Ahead full, we won’t lose them! All ships, form up!
Federation Ship: What about those planes up top?
Federation Ship: Once that battleship goes down, we can refocus.
Federation Ship: What was that battleship doing so far off?
Hitman 3 | Comic: If I didn’t know any better, I’d say the Eminent Domain was on her shakedown, why else would she be underway?
Federation Ship: This is Captain Bouray of the Federation naval group tailing you, rebel battleship...further resistance will result in your death. Strike your colors and cease all hostilities or you will be destroyed, this is your final warning.
AWACS | Galaxy: Captain, I’m routing you a vector for rendezvous, you hit that point, you should be able to link up with the Court.
Eminent Domain | Captain Woodward: Much appreciated, mercenary!
AWACS | Galaxy: Hey Hitman, you could learn a little about courtesy from this guy.
Hitman 3 | Comic: The Boss ain’t paying us to be courteous, you ingrate.
Hitman 3 | Comic: Awfully stormy for this time of year.
AWACS | Galaxy: You should see the geothermal storms back in the Federation mainland.
- Hitman 3 | Comic: Gotta love the payout on ships, right, Monarch?
- Hitman 1 WSO | Prez: Don’t bother him, Comic, you know he’s in the zone right now.
Hitman 3 | Comic: Dip’s gonna wish he was here, ships this size pay out well.
Cascadia | Warship Eminent Domain (Male): Resupply ship Court, you have visual.
Cascadia | CCS Court: Court to the Eminent Domain, link up with us and we'll get out of here.
AWACS | Galaxy: Belay that, we've got contacts Angels 9 inbound, these look like cruise missiles from shore!
Federation HQ: Kiiyo deployed, ASM inbound.
Hitman 3 | Comic: Hitman 3, moving to engage!
Eminent Domain | Captain Woodward: Get the last of our AA guns ready, we can't bet on Hitman getting all of them![note 2]
AWACS | Galaxy: They're diving from above the cloud cover! Monarch, Comic, intercept!
Federation HQ: All it takes is one shot from these.
If Eminent Domain sinks
MISSION FAILED
AWACS | Galaxy: Eminent Domain sunk! It's over. Hitman Team, RTB, the Independence Force isn't gonna be happy about this...
Destroy Federation cruise missiles

AWACS | Galaxy: All threats eliminated and scopes are clear, good stuff, Hitman!
Eminent Domain | Captain Woodward: Thank you very much, Hitman, we'll raise hell in your name next time around!

AWACS | Galaxy: Hitman Team, RTB.
Debriefing
Briefer: The Eminent Domain has made it to allied waters safe and sound, its repair and refit will ensure that we will have the advantage near the coasts and at sea as long as it’s afloat. Captain Woodward extends his regards and has forwarded you some items he has recovered from the former captain’s quarters, most chiefly a bottle of whiskey. Stand by for your next sortie.
