Briefing
K-9C | Cobb: It's always something. The second we start packing up to go home, we get told to stay on base.
K-9D | Brick: I think you and Driver were born for this life, Cobb, you've both got enough fire in you to keep on fighting.
AWACS | Vita: K-9, General Faust has been found; ISR has reported that just offshore, Faust has linked up with a sizable element of mercenary and Cascadian airships. We're still trying to get details on their exact force composition, but we're expecting an air assault.
K-9D | Brick: Air assault where? There's not like there's anything still left standing after the invasion.
AWACS | Vita: There is one strategic location of importance[note 1] that his[sic] forces didn't break down: Base Station Zero. This is Magadan's largest geothermal facility, and it was just outside of the frontline enough that outside of a few air raids, Faust's main forces were never able to secure it.[note 2] Crystal Kingdom anticipates that Faust will move on this facility immediately, and with most of our forces otherwise concentrated on securing a foothold back in Cascadia, K-9 is on deck. Load up for heavy air combat, the Federation needs you.
Mission Start
Federation | Officer (Provisional): K-9, E-6 here, looks like we weren't the only ones left to mop up. We'll be manning the defenses down here, but we can only do so much.
AWACS | Vita: ALCON, be advised the cordium interference cuts into our radar, they'll be right on top of you when they start attacking.
Mercenary Pilot (Male): We've got eyes on, let's start poking holes. We pull this off, we go down in history, that'll show Kaiser.[note 3]
AWACS | Vita: You've got inbound mercenaries from all directions. K-9, engage!
Civilian Engineer: We volunteered for this because if we don't, the Federation will drain itself alive. Whatever damage happens, we repair, and if we can't, we work around, this is what it means to be a part of the Federation.
Federation | Officer (Provisional): Just keep them away from the facility, ward them off, K-9 can deal with actually shooting them down.
K-9B | Bookie: I read about you assholes in high school, two-bit gangsters.
Mercenary Pilot (Female): We did this once already, just hit the cordium tanks and the rest will go, hell, we might finish the job before Faust gets here.[note 4]
K-9D | Brick: There's more to life than gold...what're you even trying to accomplish here?!
Mercenary Pilot (Male): Something better than this, I'll tell you that.[note 3]
Federation Ground Forces: Incoming, incoming![note 5]
Civilian Engineer: Get the neutralizer[note 6] agent ready.
Civilian Engineer: Uh, we’ve never-we've never[note 7] dumped that much into the Ring of Fire directly, if we do this here, we'll balloon pressure somewhere else![note 8]
Civilian Engineer: I'd rather deal with that than having this facility blow up!
Mercenary Pilot (Male): I was there with the Crown when we hit Apodock, this'll be a piece of cake, no Peacekeepers to save you now![note 3]
K-9C | Cobb: We can save ourselves!
Mercenary Ace (Male): Wolf, Peach, vector in now. Bumper, Draco, Poundcake, in with me, I'd rather the Federation over bounty hunters anyway.[note 9]
K-9B | Bookie: You mercs aren't even fit to be called dogs, you're nothing but scum! In my casino, there's an open bet on when the Federation will finally be done with all of you, excuse me as I put the odds in my favor!

Cascadia | General Faust: I don't know if the Federation is willing to insult me enough by constantly sending you reservists after me, but I suppose that's what the Federation does: Make people into who they need them to be. For you four, it's being a pain in my ass.
AWACS | Vita: The Cascadian White Fleet, the diplomatic flotilla turned into warships.
AWACS | Vita: K-9, you can take them down, it's not impossible.
K-9D | Brick: Real inspiring words, Vita. Come on, K-9, let's go!
Cascadia | General Faust: All Black Eagle elements, engage. May the Mother of Dust find us all!
Federation | Officer (Provisional): All batteries, free engagement!
Cascadian Airship Crew (Male): They're coming in hot![note 10]
Cascadian Airship Crew (Female): Ahead full, open up all intakes and boost cordium injection![note 11]
Cascadia | General Faust: Maintain to 340. Get to orbit over that facility, that's all that matters!
- K-9A WSO | Eye-Tee: At 12 angels, are those cruise missiles?[note 12]
Cascadian Airship Crew (Male): All mounts to local control![note 10]
Cascadia | General Faust: Fire at will!
Cascadian Airship Crew (Male): Tracking all targets![note 13]
Cascadian Airship Crew (Male): Keep the internal batteries prepped for a hot swap![note 14]
Cascadian Airship Crew (Male): Come closer, you sons of bitches![note 10]
Cascadian Airship Crew (Male): Charge the lower hulls, we'll have ground fire to deal with too![note 15]
K-9C | Cobb: Take them apart piece by piece!
Cascadian Airship Crew (Male): We have almost 40 gun batteries, why aren't they shot down yet?![note 15]
Cascadian Airship Crew (Male): The firing computer isn't equipped to deal with these types of attacks![note 14]
K-9B | Bookie: They're insane, all of them!
AWACS | Vita: It's in your hands, Driver, I leave it to you.
Cascadia | General Faust: Give it everything you've got, we will make the Federation eat itself alive!
Federation | Officer (Provisional): Get all wounded into the facility, the emergency buildings are supposed to withstand another Calamity if it comes down to it.
Federation | Officer (Provisional): There's nothing left I can tell you all to do, just shoot at it!
K-9B | Bookie: What's your final play, you maniacs?!
- K-9A WSO | Eye-Tee: How does it feel getting your asses kicked by a bunch of weekend warriors? You're all puff and no smoke! Like it or not, your[note 16] kids are gonna be part of the Federation!

Cascadia | General Faust: We're sending them back to the Calamity!

K-9C | Cobb: You Cascadians are out of your goddamned mind...what started this anyway?[note 23] Taxes? Social welfare programs? You people's obsession with being special?! You can't have your cake and eat it too, I'm gonna kill all of you and then never think of you again!
Cascadia | General Faust: For years, the Federation has claimed that they are the inheritors of the earth after the Calamity, taking the world over slowly, but here, we declare only Cascadia has that right!
Cascadia | General Faust: I saw what you started in Oceania, we all did, what we deliver to you today does not even begin to scratch the surface of what you made us do.
Cascadia | General Faust: When the false prophets came for the Middle Kingdom of Vietnam, who did the Federation call on to save them? When Sumeria flooded over, do you remember who sent their engineers to rebuild the literal birthplace of all mankind?! 15 years ago when the Mercenary Lords themselves tried to rewrite this world from their Round Table in Oceania, do you know what country Crimson 1 came from?! Every time this world cries out for help, it is not the Federation that has saved them, but Cascadia! I'm gonna make you all die cold and alone!

Federation | Officer (Provisional): The enemy fleet has taken massive damage, we're getting collateral debris raining down!
Cascadian Airship Crew (Male): Reactors are at critical, there's no coming back from this! Cascadia will survive, we're all going to die today, I choose to die fighting![note 15]
Cascadian Airship Crew (Male): [pants] Ah shit, control surfaces are melting, the Roosevelt's locked into maneuvers.[note 10]
Cascadian Airship Crew (Female): This ship is named after the Last Forefather, we shall not fail them![note 20]
Cascadian Airship Crew (Male): Reroute all emergency power and lock the engine systems into a perpetual shunt![note 17]

Cascadian Airship Crew (Female): Grab ammo from the batteries that have been knocked out![note 19]
Cascadia | General Faust: I hear you, Federation AWACS, I know where you come from...you should know better than this, you've seen it before in your homeland what the Federation does to a country.
AWACS | Vita: You don't get to say that, you Cascadians did more damage to Oceania than the rest of the Federation combined...you all belong to the dogs! Kill them all, K-9!
Federation | Officer (Provisional): Go, just go if you're wounded, I'll man this gun myself!
K-9D | Brick: What a goddamned waste of human life...you know I have Cascadians that work for me in my shop?! Do you know what you've taken from them?! You're the invaders, and we have to stop you, I’m sorry!
Cascadia | General Faust: Beat this mechanical scar into hellfire, we will bring forth the final era!
Cascadia | General Faust: Burn down the Federation, this is your Dust Mother's prayer! Burn down the Federation, this is the cry of the Cascadian Earth! Let it all burn![note 26]

Cascadia | General Faust: Listen to me, dogs of the Federation. Independence Force HQ, it's made up of all Cascadian officers who fought in the last war, just like me.
Federation | Prospero ATC: They're in the net, Command, send it, authenticate Solutions 0-8-1-6.[note 12]
Cascadia | General Faust: We found something terrible in Oceania, something that every mercenary will regard as holy, if you drag this war out any longer, they will use it, and this world will become a battlefield.
Federation | Presidia GHQ: Authenticate Blaze, read back.[note 12]
Cascadia | General Faust: It's the only way for mankind to survive:
Federation | Prospero ATC: Blaze. May God have mercy...[note 12]
Cascadia | General Faust: We either kill you all, or you kill every last Cascadian. [maniacal laughter; cut off by Roosevelt exploding]
AWACS | Vita: Faust and the White Fleet are splashed...we’ll have SOF move in and confirm her KIA. K-9...you did it, remain on station.
K-9D | Brick: What the hell was she talking about?
K-9B | Bookie: We’re little people, it’s not our Deal.
K-9C | Cobb: What matters to me is that we’re done, we get to go home.

General Faust has been eliminated.
The Cascadians have been repelled from the Federation.
