Federation Special Forces
The Federation Special Forces (SOF) is the special operations and unconventional warfare branch of the Federation Military Forces.
History
SOF was present in the Cascadian Conflict's Magadan Invasion. Section 4-4 conducted recon for searching the Cascadian Independence Force command post directing the invasion and then worked with Air Reserve Division K-9 to take it down, allowing them to acquire the rebel battle plans.[1]
The Federation also stationed Special Forces in the Arctic Circle near Base Station Zero. After the conclusion of Mission Telmort-00-Exil, where the wayward invasion commander General Faust perished, they were sent in to confirm her demise due to the many crew corpses dumped from her flagship CDV Roosevelt to lighten the load.[2]
