The Federation Air Academy, also simply known as the Academy, is an Air Force academy in Ulaanbaatar. Future Federation Air Force and National Guard pilots from all Pacific Federation states would attend the academy before becoming a pilot.

Overview

Almost every Federation pilot is originated by the reputed campus, located on the kingdom's plains. It provides facilities training aspiring aviators by way of simulated and actual flight hours and the usual class lessons.

The Academy is not flawless, however; it appears to be overpromising in drilling actual battle experience outside of the Periphery, with mercenary pilots said to accumulate more of that and earnings than almost any Academy graduate.

Passing Academy exams is implied to be quite the challenge for fighter pilot trainees that some consider live combat deployments easier than them. The faculties are also probably biased towards theory over practice for a number of students.

History

The woman who would become Sicario's first Gunsel Squadron leader used to work in the Academy as an instructor.

Another future member of Sicario, Peter Kennedy, was sent by his parents to study at the Academy and return to serve the Cascadian National Guard's Air Force. Many years of insufficient flight training and flunking, unfortunately, earned him expulsion.
