"This is...Izumi Station, out by Soctavia City, this is a regionwide alert to anyone on this frequency, we have tremors spreading out rapidly from...the Prospero Hub, stand by for further updates."
"This is Doctor Marc Dominguez of the University of Chiara to all monitoring stations on both sides of the frontline, look, I don't care about the war, we all need to talk to each other through this. Reports of...latent cordium reaction to atmospheric conditions. Uh, uh, everyone is advised to take shelter indoors effective, uh...immediately."
"Prospero's monitoring station went dark last week, we'll have to assume something is happening there."
"Uh, Prospero's volcano isn't active, though?! It shouldn't be..."
"Who knows, contamination from all the airship traffic, just latent cordium that's been inert until now?"
"What would set it off, uh, a cordium-primed warhead? Who would do that?!"
"We've never seen this reaction outside the zones before... Whatever's happening in Prospero, it's causing a chain reaction in the dirt beneath us, a...butterfly effect. Cordium reacts upon cordium, and if enough of it becomes active, it'll cause a tectonic event that-"
"Y-You don't mean...?"
"Warn everyone. Federation, Cascadian, whatever's happening won't discriminate."
― Izumi Station and Marc Dominguez[1]

Izumi Station is a geothermal monitoring station on the North American continent, somewhere near Soctavia City.

History

"The Ring of Fire is going active in Cascadia, it's cooking off!"
― Izumi Station[1]

On June 2, AC 432, Izumi Station spread out an alert across the entire North American continent about rapidly spreading tremors from Prospero. While discussing them with Doctor Marc Dominguez, it brought up the shutdown of Prospero's geothermal monitoring station and assumed something was happening there, possibly airship contamination or simply igniting cordium. Realizing this sort of reaction only happened in the exclusion zones prior, the station deduced that the events in Prospero is causing a butterfly effect through mutual cordium reaction, and instructed Dominguez to warn everyone still in the city. It was last heard announcing that the Ring of Fire has just gone active within Cascadia.[1]

Trivia

Izumi Station is named after KUNIMASA IZUMI, one of the Kickstarter backers.[2] Apparently, it also shared the same voice actor as Marc Dominguez before switching to a different voice after the first line.
