REDCON is a military unit readiness system used by the Federation Military Forces to rate combat preparation.
If a unit or collective force is at REDCON-1, this indicates free full engagement of the entire battlefield.[1]
Trivia
REDCON is an acronym for "readiness condition" in the United States Armed Forces, with REDCON-1 indicating a unit at full battle alert; weapons ready, vehicles started and mounted, and immediate movement.
