Cariburn is a Sicario fighter squadron.
History
On February 2, AC 432 in the Cascadian Conflict, Cariburn was deployed along with the rest of Sicario to the country as part of their latest contract. It stayed with the rest of the PMC while Hitman Team and Gunsel Squadron stayed back to provide cover.[1]
Etymology
The team is named after the erroneous Japanese localization of "Caliburn," the alternate name for the sword Excalibur in Arthurian legend. Specifically, it is present on the XR-45 Cariburn aircraft from Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception.
