History

Sicario utilized at least four F/C-15s, its most notable operator being Hitman Team member Evelyn London, who flew the F/C-15 for plenty of time during her mercenary service. She also used it for the duration of the Cascadian Conflict up until Operation Manifest Destiny, where she lost her plane to Crimson 1 and had to eject.[1]

A number of mercenaries that the Burlok Privateers employed had F/C-15s as well (three), which were shot down in the Meilynx Incident by Sicario fighters.[2] The Federation Air Force Blue Squadron, flying 20 of these aircraft, was defeated by Sicario during an air battle over Fresnon Range.[3] Rowsdower Air Force Base had four-plane F/C-15 formations when they were attacked in their respective operations.[4][5] In addition, two F/C-15s were among the Federation air support in the broken Salvemini Vineyards siege.[6]

There were a dozen F/C-15s stationed at the Chaohord Defense Region,[7] as well as three at the Solana Communications Array.[8] Numerous F/C-15s on both CIF and Federation sides were involved in the Operation Guillotine furball.[9] The Federation sent six to cover the retreat at Grimwood Forest, only for them to be lost as well in the CIF Offensive Campaign.[10]

The Federation Reserve Division K-9 used the F/C-15 in their first sortie while being stationed West of the Gulf of Anadyr and their subsequence sorties during the Invasion of Magadan.

The CIF sent in nine F/C-15s to take part in Operation Blue Shelter.[11] In the Second Battle of Presidia, the Federation deployed at least eight of them.[1]

Trivia

The F/C-15s
  • This aircraft, along with the MG-31, F/D-14, and F/E-18, is the first ever created for the game since the very early demos.
  • The aircraft was originally Diplomat's signature aircraft in the demos before being replaced by the MG-29.
  • A flight of five Federation F/C-15s can be seen in the deep background of the main menu before leaving the scene.
